Where: The Farm at San Benito, Batangas Who: Mr & Mrs When: Feb 2018 What: Much deserved R&R for the couple. Hollistic is defined as characterized by comprehension of the parts of something as intimately interconnected and explicable only by reference to the whole... wait, what? So lets refer to another definition, characterized by the treatment of the whole person, taking into account mental and social factors, rather than just the physical symptoms of a disease. In short, We need a break! Just a 2 hour drive from Manila, we tried out a resort that we have always wanted to but never had the time to because of being busy with our 2 kids. How To Get There: We just followed our WAZE and led us to the Farm's gate. Using a private vehicle, if coming from Manila, we used the SLEX - SLEX extension - STAR highway route, then took Lipa exit. If commuting, you can try DLTB or JAM buses that go along Taft/Buendia roads will bring you to Lipa city. Once you are at the Lipa City Bus Terminal, you can either hire an aircon private service there to bring you directly to the resort, or even cheaper, you can hire a tricycle which will also bring you directly to the resort. Where To Stay: The Farm at San Benito is the name of the resort, according to one of its emloyees, the resort is owned by partnership with Nepalese / Indian. One of its owners, whom from a bit of research shows that he is already a veteran when it comes to resorts and construction, proves it by bringing us this wonderful resort. Mr & Mrs Wanderlust's Reviews: The Farm resort promotes Wellness, and they really live up to it. Very beautiful surroundings near Mt. Malarayat in Batangas, with a resort that compliments and harmonizes the area, very nice and overall nice oriental design, yet still modern with wifi. They have great vegan food (Vegan is no animal, or its by products), on a table with a nice view. Also they have different swimming pools, an infinity pool with a nice view on the Spa, A wellness pool above it, a nice artificial waterfalls with a small pool, and a pool most likely for kids as there is a playground nearby. + Overall Rest and Relaxation + Very nice pools + Quiet place, perfect for weekend getaway + Have daily activities like Yoga, Meditation, Taichi, Flower Arrangement, Cross train, etc. to keep you active. + They still have WiFi and phone signal so you still are in contact if needed + Love the interiors of the glass suite, very cozy, and love the outdoor shower + Daily breakfast and afternoon tea and snacks also inclluded ***Rating: Price: $$$ 8K - 15KPHP ($200 - $1,800USD) per night depending on villa type Service: 5 star - Service & staff were all helpful and nice. Facilities & Amenities: 5 star - Overall nice design, quiet with nature, lovely pools, gyms & others Restaurant (foods): 4.9 star -Love their vegan food and healthy, but sorry no bacon for you. Bar: n/a - though they have choice wines in their restaurant. ________________________________ Overall: 4.97 /5 The only reason it didn't get a 5/5 is because it was not a beach property. Have it been a resort like the farm with a beach front villas or cottages it would be so perfect. But overall it was really nice, though another downside is that their regular massage rates are a bit high (4,000PHP = $80) yet according to some reviews, it was just the same massage and nothing really special so we didn't give it a try, but maybe next time we have the chance to, we will try and give an update and rating. What To Do: 1. Eat Healthy Foods As the resort promotes wellness, first thing that you would notice would be their dedication to keep all the foods organic and vegan, meaning no animal, and its by products are used as ingredients to the food and drinks that they serve. Dining healthy and chemical free as they are served straight from their garden 2. Find your inner peace Clear your mind and find your inner peace. Stop for a moment, relax, close your eyes, breathe, connect to nature and meditate, as their facilities would definitely inspire you to meditate surrounded by relaxing nature and quiet place 3. Check out their Healing Sanctuary Featuring many integrated medical services, such as water/hydro therapy which they have a special pool for that, also in their Healing Sanctuary are their rooms for massages, and an infinity pool where you can swim with a nice view of nature. 4. See their mini waterfalls From afar, you would already hear the sound of the waters. Their artificial falls is really nice as it also features a mini pool where you can really take a dip and pretend it is a real waterfall as you feel the cool breeze wind produced by the water pouring, and the very cold water, perfect for when the sun is up, or maybe after an exercise session to give you more energy. 5. Try the Daily Scheduled Activities The resort offers daily scheduled activities like Sunrise Yoga, Taichi Quigong, Mandala Flower Arrangement Meditation, Cross Training, Sunset Walk, and maybe a few more we failed to mention. The said activities are really perfect for the resort and will definitely keep you not only busy, but feeling enlightened as well. “Yoga is not a religion. It is a science, science of well-being, science of youthfulness, science of integrating body, mind and soul.”

Wow really looks like a calm place for a couples vacation. Nice read and might consider going there in case we are in PH and need some stress buster.
