Where: Tokyo Disneyland - Akihabara - Shinjuku - Shibuya - Ginza Who: Mr, Mrs & Little Miss Wanderlust, Alexi, Papi & Mita When: End of winter - start of spring What: Tokyo city experience, foods, shopping, bright lights and tall buildings
There are a lot of choices for accommodations in Tokyo for different budgets. Do your research on hotel booking and review sites on which you prefer, but with Japan's very efficient train system, it is suggested that hotel is near the train stations. Mr & Mrs Wanderlust's Hotel Review & Rating Hotel Ryumeikan > Just a street crossing away from the Tokyo Grand Central train station. > Everything is easily accessible in the area from convenience stores, to shopping areas & places to eat. > Not so spacey room, but what do you expect you are in Tokyo! > Free Kimono to take home for girls to play dress up :) (If its not we are sorry, but girls just wanna have fun) > No free breakfast but they offer sushi platter breakfast which is kinda expensive, unless you are into sushi (5,000 JPY ~ 2,500 PHP) so decide to walk around the area and look for good place to eat, and surely we found a lot of nice places to eat. > Has an Irish pub on its ground floor too bad wasn't able to try but place looks really good place to drink beer. ***Rating: Hotel Price: $$$$ Hotel Service: 4 star Hotel Facilities & Amenities: 4 star Restaurant (foods): 3 star Bar: 5 star ________________________________ Overall: 4.6 / 5 Things we loved about Tokyo: 1. Konbini aka convenience stores Where you can: > Pay bills > Buy baseball tickets > Buy edible and delicious (oishi)foods > Try new, weird or ridiculous snacks (Sparkling soy water, red wine in tetrapak etc) > Read manga (and yes! There's also sealed porn magazines - some with free panties / and DVDs) > Get Chuodo'd - When you pay for exact change they usually acknowledge “Choudo, desu ne?” (“It’s just right, isn’t it!”). 2. Akihabara Electric Town If it is electronic, or has electronic components or even just a plain accessory for every electronic, you name it, they have it! You just have to look for the right places, and be fluent at their language because its kinda hard to read the labels, but being a tech-enthusiast we can see latest gadgets, computer parts (water cooling & latest video cards) etc. Techies and even anime geeks would love this place, this is where you would see anime, manga, few cosplayers (more in Harajuku) and lots of arcades and video game play areas, (which i found weird because kids are not allowed). There were also different kinds of shops that caters to the men who like manga / anime related stuff. 3. Ginza / Shinjuku / Shibuya Bright lights at night and lots of people, crossing around stoplights, and shopping places everywhere, from foods, to electronics, sports shops, to luxury items, you name it. 4. 100 Yen Stores Where you can buy all goodies for 100 Yen, from electronic gadgets, accessories, snacks, drinks, souvenir, etc. Found many unique and good buys! 5. Public Transportation Their public transportation (trains) are so efficient and can get you almost anywhere in Japan (yes, even from one province to another) . It is so efficient that you would rarely see traffic in their streets You might also like:

They don't look like school girls to me. They look like they are all in their 20s. (comment via narwhal networks)

hmm, ok. I don't know the dynamic of Japanese schools so I didn't even think of their ages, but if those skirts are short for school in my personal opinion. To each their own, I guess lol.

I can't speak for Japan but in China, women (not school girls) wear very short skirts and see thru skirts and shirts. I was walking to work today and saw something very nice, and it wasn't the beach

Taught in Japan. Yes, they are typically that short. Some of the more modest girls will actually wear shorts underneath. (comment via narwhal networks)
