 Sinulog is an annual festival held on the third Sunday of January in Cebu City. The festival commemorates the Filipino people's pagan origin, and their acceptance of Roman Catholicism.

Crown Regency Hotel Cebu

     The hotel where the whole family decided to stay to watch the Sinulog festival parade closely as its location is really in front of the "rotonda" where the parade would pass by. Very busy from inside the hotel to outside its streets. The only thing annoying is that to get to your room,  you have to ride elevator twice as it has to stop to a certain floor, then transfer to another elevator. Breakfast is just plain, nothing special (no bacon.) But the room is spacey enough and service is alright.


>has indoor and outdoor pool but outdoor is too windy as it is in a higher floor of the building, On the bright side, alcohol is available on a minibar within the the outdoor pool  area so as I have learned from the Russians a shot of vodka will keep the cold away.
>charges 100php for extra pillows, towel etc. 
>no wifi :(

What to do:

As with festivals like these, there are a lot of street parties, from different bars, to restaurants holding their own hosting for the pit senyor festival. Depending on who you are with (adults, family, friends) you can choose which type of establishment you want to go and celebrate with the locals. There are also concerts and other different activities that we suggest you check online or through print or ask hotel attendants for any schedule of activities.

Even the hotel that we have checked in has lots of activities, from shooting range, tower climb and observe, etc.  Cebu City is very urbanized and surely you wouldn't run out of activities.
