How To Get There  By Train Duration: Approximately 3-3.5 hours Cost: Varies depending on the train type and time of booking Taking the train from Barcelona to Valencia is a comfortable and efficient option. Spain's high-speed rail network, known as the AVE, connects the two cities. The trains are clean, modern, and well-equipped. Start your journey at Barcelona Sants station, which is well-connected to the city center. Be sure to book your tickets in advance, as prices can vary depending on the time of day and how far in advance you book. Once onboard, you'll enjoy a smooth ride with scenic views of the Spanish countryside. The train arrives at Valencia Joaquín Sorolla station, which is within walking distance of the city center. From there, you can easily reach your accommodation and begin your Valencia adventure. Other options such as bus, private taxi and plane are also there but knowing Europe, they have extra reliable and comfortable train systems and usually with scenic views that one would enjoy without too much hassle. Where To Stay: During our time in Valencia, we found a welcoming retreat at the Senator Parque Hotel, nestled in the heart of the city. Our accommodation was not only impeccably clean but also boasted a lovely balcony offering picturesque views of the local Valencia neighborhood. Enjoy walking around the town and marvel at the architectural styles Take a leisurely stroll through Valencia's Old Town to witness the city's rich history and marvel at the diverse architectural styles. Visit iconic landmarks like the Valencia Cathedral, the Silk Exchange (La Lonja), and the Central Market for a taste of the city's historical and cultural significance. 2. Delight our gastronomic experience with the Valenciana beach and paella Bask in the seaside serenity while relishing the quintessential Valencian experience of Paella Valenciana. The rhythmic waves at the beachside create an idyllic setting to savor this traditional dish. The flavors of saffron-kissed rice, fresh seafood, and local ingredients are elevated by the coastal breeze, blending the taste of the region with the calming ambiance of the Mediterranean.
