What: Boracay - The BEST beach in the world. Powdery white sands.

Out of all the islands in the world, Travel+Leisure Magazine chose to name Boracay as its Best Overall Island of 2012. Located in Malay, Aklan, Western Visayas, Boracay is just seven kilometers long, and less than a kilometer wide at its narrowest point - a postcard-sized tropical paradise.  

How to get there:

The fastest way to Boracay is to fly from Manila to Caticlan Airport in Panay island.

There are also many flights to Kalibo, one may also take the Manila-Kalibo flight however, travel time is is 1 1/2 hours by bus from Caticlan.  Flight time from Manila to Caticlan is approximately 50 minutes.

From Cebu City, flying time is also about 50 minutes and 30 minutes from Tablas, Romblon.

What to do:

1. Island Hopping - as if the beach isn't good enough and want to see more.
2. Water Activities - you will not get bored, so many activities on this beach.
3. Parasailing - Fly alone or with someone on a parachute pulled by a speedboat by the beach.
4. Snorkeling - Enjoy the fishes, and it is best in Bulabog beach area.
5. Massage - Trust me, somehow, sometime, someone on the beach will offer you this. And if you don't want by the beach, you can choose to have them in your hotel/resort room but be prepared for extra charges/tariff by hotel management.
6. Tattoos - Permanent or henna just for a few weeks, they have a lot of good artists.
7. Sunset - View the sunset that has always been appreciated.
8. Party - This beach always has party every night, except on Holy Week.
9. Relax -  For the people who just wants peace, head over to station one or other places where one can meditate, just hear the waves, and away from the crowds.
10. Food & Drink - Lots of different foods to choose from. But for ice cold shakes? We would only recommend one and only Jonah's, its just so damn good and my shake goes well with the nice view of the powdery white sands of the beach. Cheers!
